Johan Brants speaker at conference "Making Intellectual Property Rights work at work"

On 1 and 2 September 2016 Eurocadres is organising a Conference on ‘Making Intellectual Property Rights work at work – Unions and innovation – The hallmark of strong Intellectual Property Rights'.

Johan Brants, European, Belgian and Dutch Patent Attorney, will be speaking about the topic “Spin-off rights for young researchers – the jump from theory to practice” on Thursday 1 September 2016.

A lot is happening in the field of intellectual property rights. Digitalisation and social platforms have changed the way we work, how innovations are created and with whom they are shared or not.

During this conference Eurocadres hopes to create an interesting debate among representatives of trade unions, employers, professional associations and other stakeholders because IPR has political implications on society, companies and employees.

The conference starts on 1 September 2016 at 14.30 and finishes on the 2 September 2016 at 12.30.

Venue: European Economic Social Committee, rue van Maerlant 2, 1040 Brussels.

Interpretation in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
