Founded in 2010, Nest Labs owns no less than 33 patent families (patents and patent applications) filed in the US, 4 patent families have already been converted to WO (as PCT patent applications) and 1 patent family to Europe. However, Nest Labs has already been sued for patent infringement by Honeywell, Allure Energy and BRK Brands Inc.
